For more than 20 years, Lourdes University’s Life Lab has served as a valuable natural and environmental resource, offering science instruction, activities and materials for pre-service education majors and existing teachers. Now, the National Wildlife Foundation is honoring the Life Lab’s commitment to nature, by naming it a Certified Wildlife Habitat.
This is not the first time that Lourdes’ Life Lab has been recognized for its efforts! Previously the lab partnered with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and has also been recognized as an outstanding project by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and approved as one of Ohio’s Monarch Waystations by the Monarch Watch organization.
