Lifelong Learning to hold 2012 presidential election forum

Lourdes Lifelong Learning will hold a presidential election forum on Friday, Jan. 20 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Franciscan Center.

Lourdes faculty members Mary Robinson, Ph.D. (History), Dale Lanigan, Ed.D. (Sociology & Justice Studies), and Professor Tom Estrella (Psychology) will discuss the 2012 presidential election focusing on the candidates, issues that will be debated, and strategies that will be employed.

Both the primary and general election campaigns, as well as significant congressional contests, will be considered and the battle for control of the United States House of Representatives and Senate will be examined. A variety of perspectives will be offered and questions will be entertained.
