The Cleveland-based Oswald Companies, an employee-owned, independent insurance and risk management firm, is reinforcing its commitment to northwestern Ohio by relocating its office to a larger space at 5671 N. Main St., Suite 202, in downtown Sylvania.
Michael Casey, market leader for Oswald Toledo, said he learned about the space from his friend, David Lenavitt, who, with Rick and Jeff Stansley, are owners of the building. “This is a great location and the space reflects the kind of image we want to project,” Casey said. “This location is also very convenient, which we felt is important for our clients and our future employees. We saw this office as an opportunity to invest in our continuing growth.
John Healey of the Danberry Commercial Real Estate Company is the listing agent for the building.
“Oswald has always been committed to our northwest Ohio client base, specifically in the communities in Toledo and Sylvania. With this new and expanded office space, we further strengthen this commitment,” Casey said. “This expansion will enable us to grow our team of employee-owners and better support our business opportunities in the region.”
Oswald Companies serves the commercial market, business owners and individuals offering property/casualty products, employee benefits, life insurance and retirement plan services. Casey, who has more than 15 years of experience in the risk management industry, joined the company in 2014 and opened the company’s first northwestern Ohio office on Central Park West. Casey also serves as the leader of Oswald Companies International Practice, serving the global insurance and risk management needs of the companies in the United States and abroad.
“We’re proud of our history of service in the communities in and around Toledo, and support the growth objectives around staff and capabilities,” said David Jacobs, president and Chief Operating Officer of the Oswald Companies.
In addition to the new Sylvania office, in recent years, Oswald has expanded its geographic footprint throughout Ohio and Michigan, including office expansions in Akron, Columbus, Cincinnati and Detroit. Headquartered in Cleveland, Oswald was founded in 1893.
