Sylvania AdVantage and GenoaBank congratulate the long-time Sylvania business, J & G Pizza Palace/UPside Brewing, 5692 Main St., for being chosen by the community as the Most Outstanding Sylvania-Area Small Business. Runners up include Brad Crown, Realtor and Sylvania ACE Hardware, both of which received a generous number of votes as well.
The campaign, now in its fifth year, recognizes exceptional local businesses and the contribution they make to the community. Beginning Feb. 4, area residents had an opportunity to nominate their own business or another local small business to vie for prizes including an advertising package from Sylvania AdVantage and a Visa gift card from GenoaBank, a total prize value of $2,000. Thirty-four businesses were nominated for the award. The field was then narrowed to three finalists and the community had an opportunity to vote for their favorite.
J & G Pizza Palace/UPside Brewing joins the ranks of previous winners, including Arrow Print and Copy (2019), Sautter’s Food Center (2018), Charlie’s Homemade Pizza and Italian Cuisine (2017), and Hafner Florist (2016).
