After 100 years in business, Miller Diversified, a family-owned commercial real estate and construction company from northwest Ohio, will be expanding into the Nashville market.
Founded in 1920, Miller Diversified started out as a farm and greenhouse business. The company was launched by the Miller brothers in a post-war era of agricultural depression. Over the course of the next century and the next several generations, the business evolved and adapted to a new business model.
“Our company has grown and evolved in the past 100 years, and it will continue to grow and evolve even in these times of uncertainty,” said CEO Kurt Miller. “This commitment to evolving with the times paired with our relentless commitment to our purpose of building value across generations is what has allowed our business to take this momentous next step into an exciting new market.”
The broker for Miller Diversified’s new Nashville office will be Jerry Miller and the new location will be operated by managing director Tom Foster, whose deep experience in the commercial real estate field offers the perfect foundation for a growing team. Prior to Foster joining Miller Diversified, he most recently served as the account director of JLL’s State of Tennessee account. His skills set allows Miller Diversified to maintain a high standard of service, even though the Nashville office is new.

Miller Diversified offers a spectrum of real estate services, including development, construction, brokerage, property management, and a real estate investment fund. Eventually, the Nashville office is designed to provide this full spectrum of services. Currently, the Nashville team will be offering brokerage and property management services, with construction to follow in the near future. As always, the Miller Investment Fund is available to investors across the nation.
The Miller Diversified team believes their success is in part due to their deep roots in northwest Ohio, a land that has offered boundless opportunities across the past century. The Toledo area has always been home to the company and has been the perfect place to build a strong foundation for an organization that will continue to serve the next generations.
