Zingerman’s Cornman Farms launches Thanksgiving to-go online ordering

This Thanksgiving, instead of spending countless hours shopping, prepping and cooking, save the time and energy by ordering Zingerman’s Cornman Farms’ Thanksgiving To-Go. The chef-owned venue just launched its online store featuring an a la carte menu filled with farm-fresh Thanksgiving dishes utilizing local ingredients ranging from $5 to $195. It’s a simple and delicious way to enjoy the holiday— guests can order online, pick-up at the farm, reheat and serve.
Kieron Hales, a classically trained chef who spent much of his career in Michelin-star kitchens across Europe, is excited to offer his take on the traditional meal. What sets this menu apart? His signature sous vide method, which allows food to cook to a precise temperature, locking in delicious results every time. For the star of the show, Kieron brines the turkey in flavorful herbs, then sous vides it for 24 hours to slowly develop the perfect flavor. A nice alternative to turkey and one of Kieron’s favorite dishes, the dry-aged beef tenderloin is marinated in a variety of herbs before it’s slowly cooked in the sous vide and then seared to lock in flavor and develop a nice crust. In addition to the main proteins, guests can order everything from squash soup and mashed potatoes to crispy stuffing and farm-fresh vegetable dishes, plus dessert. 
Kieron explains why Cornman Farms launched Thanksgiving To-Go: “Thanksgiving is a time to spend with your loved ones. If we’re able to help our guests gain just a bit more enjoyment and a bit more time to be with the people they love this time of year… well, that couldn’t bring me more joy.”
