“At the end of the day it’s not about what you have or even what you’ve accomplished … it’s about who you’ve lifted up, who you’ve made better. It’s about what you’ve given back.” These words, spoken by Denzel Washington, certainly apply to the countless individuals and organizations who have supported our community. In February, the month of love, our editions celebrate those who have given their heart and compassion to assist others in need. We also celebrate the Sylvania community who has helped numerous organizations sustain their efforts in big-hearted ways by lifting, encouraging, feeding, building and supporting its members through these challenging times.
