French Open doubles champions headline JPO Foundation charity tennis event

The JPO Foundation’s second annual “It’s All About Love” Tennis Charity Event will be held on Saturday, July 22 at TWO’s Athletic Club on Cass Road in Toledo. Internationally known tennis champions, Luke and Murphy Jensen, will be in Toledo to help support the mission of the JPO Foundation. Proceeds from the event, which is in memory of James Patrick O’Connell, focuses on educating, supporting, and promoting healthy relationships, better access to mental health and crisis intervention services. La-Z-Boy designers bring new ideas from spring market

“Green is the color of the season … dark hunter, sage, olive, all different shades,” noted Rene Ackerman, La-Z-Boy interior designer. She and co-worker Dalton Sheehan, also an interior designer, along with Marketing Director Matt Simpson recently returned from the spring High Point Furniture Market. “The emphasis on green really represents being outdoors. What’s growing on at Louis Keil and Sons Farm

The greenhouses at Louis Keil and Sons Farm are bursting at the seams with flowers of all colors this week as owners Tony, Mike and Tim Keil kick off their spring retail season. The third generation farm, located at 9022 W. Central Ave. in Sylvania Township, is ready for customers to shop from a wide assortment of flowering annuals. “We grow approximately 30 types of flowers,” said Tony Keil.
