
Rody Schroyer of Ottawa Lake, Mich. will attempt to qualify at the 50th annual running of the Redbud Pro Motocross National on July 1 in Buchanan, Mich. He will be competing in the 250cc class aboard his STP trucking, Rydr Powersports, turbo speed tuning Gasgas. Schroyer first qualified for this event in 2020 and anticipates repeating in front of his hometown crowd. In addition to the weekend of racing, Redbud MX celebrates America’s Independence Day with fireworks and flying the flag high.
Schroyer, 28, started racing when he was 4 years old. He turned professional four years ago and competes throughout the May through August racing season.
Pro Motocross Championship is the world’s premier motocross racing series. As the exclusive professional motocross program in the U.S. sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing (American Motorcyclist Association), the series features racers from around the world competing on racetracks around the country.
Red Bud MX, located in southeast Michigan, is a racetrack that opened in 1973 that hosts a round of the AMA Motocross Championship on the Independence Day weekend.
