Sylvania Township Assistant Fire Chief Jeffrey Bennett, left, and Chief Chris Nye, right, congratulate firefighter/EMT Gregory Wilcox, center, on Feb. 19. After over 25 years of service to the Sylvania community, Wilcox earned a #1 Badge for his time on the Sylvania Fire-EMS squad. The badge is given to designate the line firefighter with the most seniority as a way to commemorate the years of dedication and service that firefighters provide to the community.
