Monroe Street at Summit Street
US Utility Contractor Co. will be continuing work on Monroe St at the intersection of Summit St to remove and install new curb and sidewalk. This is part of the Monroe-Main-Summit Traffic Signal Project.
Due to this construction, beginning Monday, March 23rd, the southern-most eastbound lane on Monroe St from Main St to Summit St will be closed for 4 days. Eastbound traffic will still be maintained using the other eastbound lane. Access to businesses will be maintained at all times.
Main Street Between Maplewood and Erie
FET Construction will begin excavation work on Main St between Maplewood Ave and
Erie St to install underground conduit for new utility lines. This is part of the
Downtown Utility Bury project, in preparation for Downtown Transportation
Improvement Project (Phase 2).
Due to this construction, beginning Monday, March 23rd, northbound traffic on Main
St between Maplewood Ave and Erie St will be shifted to the southbound lane. No
southbound traffic will be permitted in this section. Access to businesses and
residences will be maintained at all times. This traffic pattern is expected to last
approximately 90 days.
