The 36th annual Sylvania Fall Festival, presented by the Sylvania Area Chamber of Commerce, will be held along Main Street in downtown Sylvania on Saturday, Oct. 15 and Sunday, Oct. 16. This year’s event features 50 vendors including craft and farmers market booths; representatives from local organizations; 10 food trucks and live music throughout the weekend.

Fall Festival weekend kicks off Saturday from 4 to 10 pm with the Nite Lite Farmers Market. Teams will play for a chance to win custom championship boards, a cash prize, and bragging rights. Visit sylvaniachamber.org to register.

A full day of activities will be offered Oct. 16 from 10 am to 4 pm including the Fall Festival parade, live music, craft and market vendors, trick-or-treat on Main Street, and a family fun zone with bounce houses, pony rides, petting zoo and complimentary pumpkins.

The parade kicks off at 1 pm with the Northview, Southview, Evergreen High School and Lourdes University marching bands, local dance, twirling and karate groups participating. In addition, the 2022 Grand Marshal will be announced. Bleacher seating will be available along Main Street for prime viewing. Trick-or-treating begins at 2 pm.

Complimentary shuttle service to the festival will be offered on Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. Festivalgoers may park on the campus of ProMedica Flower Hospital and a trolley will shuttle people into downtown Sylvania, operating on a consistent pick-up and drop-off loop.
