The Olander Park System and the Starlite Theater Group invite those “staunch of heart” to a free event, Haunted Hallow’s Eve, on Oct. 26 at the Nederhouser Community Hall in Olander Park. The evening will feature Vincent Price staring in the 1959 movie “House on Haunted Hill.”
Costumes are optional with prizes awarded after the movie to the best three, as voted on by those in attendance.
Doors open at 7 pm for conversation and dancing to Halloween-themed music such as “Monster Mash,” “Abracadabra,” and, of course, “Thriller!” The movie begins at 8 pm. Light refreshments will be served.
TOPS hosts many events throughout the year for kids and families including the annual Halloween Hike on Oct. 29. Together with Starlite, it was decided to host the first Halloween event for adults this year on Oct. 26.
