The Genacross Lutheran Services Foundation presents an opportunity to engage with Jim Tressel, the former head football coach of The Ohio State University. This charity event, “An Evening with Jim Tressel,” will be held at 6 pm on Thursday, July 25, at The Pinnacle in Maumee.
Coach Tressel will focus on the leadership strategies that led the Buckeyes to the 2002 National Championship. His stories will explore the art of motivating and inspiring others in any field and the importance of philanthropy. The evening’s highlight will be a Q&A session with Coach Tressel, hosted by James Starks, anchor of 13abc Action News Good Morning.
In addition, Steven Brinkman, an alumnus of the Genacross Family & Youth Services group home program, will share his life-changing experiences under Genacross’ care. He will also discuss how Genacross has changed lives and continues to help youth from disadvantaged backgrounds break cycles of abuse and change their futures in drastic, positive ways.
Tickets for the evening are $150 each, which includes a plated dinner and the inspiring program. A cash bar will be available.
