Registration is now open for the Outdoor Sylvania Community Parks annual trout derby to be held at Olander Park, 6930 Sylvania Ave. Children ages 15 and under, with a guardian, are invited to fish at this free event from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday, April 25.

Goodie bags, a t-shirt and raffle ticket are offered for $5 for Sylvania School district residents and $7 for others. Pre-registration is available through April 18 and same day registration opens at 8 am. Pre-registration guarantees a t-shirt size if purchased.
