Local music producer wins a Grammy

Jameil Aossey, raised in the Sylvania area, won the award for “Best Dance/Electronic Music Album” at the Grammys on Feb. 5 for his work on Beyoncé’s new album “Renaissance”. Aossey and his partner, S1, produced two tracks on the album: “I’m That Girl” and “All Up In Your Mind.” This award gave Beyoncé the most Grammy victories of all time with 32 wins. New name … same mission – Outdoor Sylvania Community Park System introduced

The Olander Park System is now Outdoor Sylvania Community Parks, which better reflects the organization’s mission, helps clarify misconceptions about the number of parks the organization runs, and encourages the community to visit all five parks in the system. This was the inspiration behind the new name and logo that was just revealed for The Olander Park System’s rebrand campaign. Main St. in the Sylvania Historical Village, relocating their Sylvania studio from 5441 Main St. The partners opened their location in Sylvania early last year as their original Perrysburg location, founded 10 years ago, continues to expand and grow.
