Downtown Sylvania’s Edward Jones financial advisor, Don Ahl, has not let the recent pandemic’s “shelter-in-place” and “stay-at-home” mandates slow down maintaining relationships with his clients.
“Thanks to all of the firm’s advanced technology resources, my clients and I have been able to keep in touch on a regular basis through a variety virtual options including Zoom meetings and phone conversations.”

“Our firm has implemented a myriad of technological features such as electronic signing and delivery of documents for client convenience” Ahl explained.
“In addition, because of the Edward Jones long-term investment philosophy, my clients are educated regarding their investments and therefore did not panic when this pandemic was announced,” he offered.
Ahl has 27 years of experience in the investment field and joined Edward Jones eight years ago. “This was a great move for me and for my clients,” he said. He relocated to the downtown Sylvania office at 5678 N. Main St. three years ago. “I am happy to be here and involved in the community. We also receive lots of great feedback from the community we serve.”
According to Ahl, Edward Jones is a privately held financial services firm with numerous resources geared to client success.
Edward Jones was founded in 1922 by Edward D. Jones, who served as the first managing partner. The firm has grown to serve more than 7 million investors from more than 15,000 branch offices in North America. Penny Pennington became the firms’ the sixth managing partner in 2019.
