Festirama is a sure sign of spring

Signs of spring and Festirama seem to go hand-in-hand. This year is no different. As trees and flowers begin to show off their spring best, posters all around Sylvania announce the 43rd annual event to be held May 19-21 on the Saint Joseph Catholic Church campus, 5411 Main St.

Austin Dugan, his twins Gavin and Carter, and their grandparents Beth and Joe Beham enjoy Festirama 2022.

The weekend event offers musical entertainment, food, a beer tent, bingo, a cash prize raffle, children’s activities, and carnival-style rides. There is a special small children’s section for rides and a game tent while the larger rides will be placed on the east campus parking lot.

Skittle Bots will entertain Friday from 8 to 11 pm, the Bridges will play Saturday from 7 to 11 pm, and Memorable Knights will be on hand on Sunday from noon to 6 pm. Barbecue chicken dinners will be prepared for dining in or pick-up at a designated drive-through station on Sunday.

Grace Wheeler and Jacob Barchick have fun at Festirama 2022.
