Star Spangled celebration planned for Centennial Terrace

Sylvania’s “Star Spangled Celebration” will be held Monday, July 3 from 7 to 11 pm at Centennial Terrace, 5773 Centennial Rd.
There will be live music by 56 Daze along with dancing, clowns, food and drink, and more. The fireworks display, which begins at 10 pm, will be accompanied by music that will be simulcast on 101.5 – WRVF – The River.

Reserved tables for 10 are $100; general admission is $6 for adults / $4 for children 12 and under. Parking is $5 per car at Centennial. No carry-in food or beverages will be permitted at Centennial Terrace.
The fireworks may also be viewed from Sylvania Pacesetter Park, 8801 Sylvania- Metamora Rd. There will be a $5 parking charge per vehicle and families are encouraged to bring their own blankets or lawn chairs to Pacesetter Park. Inflatable slides, bounce-houses and other kids’ activities will be on-site and concessions will be available.
This year, the fireworks will be presented by American Fireworks of Hudson, Ohio. “We expect this display to be the best we have ever had,” said Sylvania Recreation Executive Director Mike McMahon.

Co-sponsored by the City of Sylvania, Sylvania Township, and the Sylvania Recreation District, additional sponsorship opportunities are still available.
