It has begun!
The orange and white cones are in place alerting drivers to current road closures.
• Two-way, north-and south-bound, is maintained on Main Street between Maplewood Avenue and Monroe Street. The traffic signal at the Maplewood and Main intersection has been switched to four-way red flashing mode and stop signs have been added to each approach at that intersection.
• Two-way traffic is maintained on Maplewood Avenue between the railroad tracks and Main Street; however, only eastbound traffic is being allowed on Maplewood Avenue between Main and Summit streets.
• One-way northbound traffic on Main Street between Maplewood Avenue and Erie Street is open.
• A 10-day closure is anticipated in the spring on Main Street between Maplewood Avenue and Erie Street for service connections to the new water main.
