At Risk Resident Registry offers service to community members in need
The Sylvania Township Police Department has implemented a new community safety initiative, the At-Risk Resident Registry, to better serve members of the community. This is geared toward those who may benefit from a specialized approach based on a variety of developmental, cognitive, mental health, or physical challenges during a response from STPD officers.
This At-Risk Resident Registry, powered by Frontline Public Safety Solutions, is a free, voluntary and confidential program. It is designed for residents with autism or developmental disabilities; Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other cognitive conditions; those with medical, mobility, or mental health challenges; and community members who live alone and may need additional support.
Registering helps first responders be more informed and prepared when responding to calls and allows the STPD to provide safer and more compassionate service.
All information is securely stored and only used by first responders when responding to an incident.
