
Fall into fun all October long at Toledo Zoo’s Harvest Fest! Included with general admission, this fall extravaganza is taking place Oct. 1-31 and will offer a delightful blend of seasonal festivities.
Visitors can immerse themselves in the vibrant colors of autumn as they explore the Zoo. The event operates throughout the week, with admission from 10 am to 4 pm on Mondays to Wednesdays, as well as Saturdays and Sundays, with the Zoo closing at 5 pm. On Thursdays and Fridays, the Zoo will extend its hours, with admission staying open until 8 pm, closing at 9 pm. Visitors will have ample opportunities to engage in the festivities, enjoying both daytime and evening experiences.
This year, visitors will be captivated by giant pumpkin displays scattered throughout the Zoo, offering fantastic photo opportunities. The Zoo transforms into a scenic fall wonderland, inviting guests to embrace the autumn spirit.

Specialty-themed, hands-on horticulture workshops are also available for deeper exploration of fall flora.
As part of the Zoo’s 125th Anniversary celebration, the 125 Years of Impact Symposium will take place, bringing together global conservation leaders to highlight the Zoo’s work saving species locally and around the world. The event will conclude with the Impact to Action: A Legacy Gala. This will be an evening of culinary experiences, live music, and animal encounters held throughout the Zoo’s historic WPA buildings.
Weekends at Toledo Zoo’s Harvest Fest are a special treat you won’t want to miss! Visitors can enjoy musical entertainment, character meet and greets, games, bounce houses, and fall activities—all of which are included with Zoo admission.
For animal enthusiasts, there’s a fall animal demonstration schedule that offers an up-close adventure with the animals. Additionally, weekend pumpkin carving demonstrations and free pumpkin carving classes on select Sundays will be offered.
For culinary enthusiasts, there are special concession options featuring fall-themed food and beverages, allowing visitors to sip and savor the flavors of the season.
