Dog licenses available through Jan. 31

The 2023 dog license renewal period continues through January. One-year, three-year, and permanent dog licenses can be purchased without penalty. Fees for licenses are $25 for one year, $75 for three-years, and $250 for the life-of-a dog option. Dog owners who purchase their 2023 license will receive the LC4 Love Dogs key fob, which is a rewards card program that offers discounts for services and goods at participating businesses and organizations. “In addition to all Toledo Lucas County Public Libraries, dog owners can purchase licenses in person at the Lucas County Auditor’s Office in One Government Center, Suite 600, or online using the dog tag renewal system. TARTA offers fare-free rides on Election Day

The Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority wants to make sure everyone’s voice is heard on election day by giving customers a free ride to their polling place. TARTA, TARPS paratransit services, and Call-A-Ride services will be free all day Tuesday, Nov. 8, as part of the Voter Ready With TARTA campaign. Early Voting Center relocates

The League of Women Voters® of Toledo-Lucas County is urging all registered voters to VOTE in the General Election on Nov. 8. Voting is your voice, and all citizens have the right to express their wishes by voting.

Early voting is through Nov. 7 at the Early Voting Center, C Entrance, now located at the Lucas County Shared Services, 3737 W. National Voter Registration Day designated

The National Association of Secretaries of State designated a Tuesday in September as National Voter Registration Day to encourage voter participation and increase awareness of state requirements and deadlines for voting.
