Something Special 4 You Boutique opens in Mayberry Square

Sylvania Town Crier Mike Lieber and the Sylvania Area Chamber of Commerce Welcoming Committee members Nancy Jomantas, Bill Sanford, Todd Woodard, John Healey, Jan Tidd, Ken Wyse, Brian McCann and Bob Forcht join store owner Wendy Stanley, her daughter Kylee Stanley, mother, Sherry Wheeler, and Jason Brown to cut the ribbon to officially open the new specialty gift shop and boutique on July 16.

Interior designer Wendy Stanley realized a long-time dream when she opened Something Special 4 You in Mayberry Square. Friends, family, and Sylvania Area Chamber of Commerce Welcoming Committee members joined Stanley for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open her new store on July 16.

“With a degree in home interior design, I owned a home furnishing store years ago in Arizona and I was eager to open another shop once my daughter was grown. She recently graduated from Notre Dame Academy and will be going to Bowling Green State University in the fall so the timing is perfect,” Stanley reported.

“As a resident of Sylvania, this is the perfect location for my shop,” she noted. “Everyone at Mayberry has been so welcoming. Mike Hojinacki, the owner, and his staff are amazing. They have been wonderful to work with. I gave him my vision for the store and he and his crew made it happen,” she recounted. “It just feels like a great family. I am excited to be part of this neighborhood.” Stanley pointed out that Something Special 4 You is truly a family business. “We look forward to sharing all of the new products hand-selected from the global markets,” she said.

“Customers can find an array of beautiful and unique gifts, home decor, lifestyle, and seasonal items. Visit Something Special 4 You for a fun, friendly shopping experience,” Stanley invited.

The new shop is open Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 am to 3 pm.
