A sign variance for the allowed 24-square-foot building sign was also approved for First Apostolic Church, 5701 Sylvania Ave. The request to install two signs on opposite sides of the building: one approximately 180 square feet and the other 143 square feet, to provide clear, identifiable signage on Sylvania Avenue and I-475.
However, BZA members turned down Kyle Burditt’s appeal of the violation he received regarding the 12 chickens at his 8417 Central Ave. residence, which is in the Villa Farms subdivision.
