The department requested permission to terminate a contract with a medic unit transport fee collection service due to lack of revenue from the service. The department also requested authorization to purchase two new vehicles, a 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Crew Cab to be used by the Training and Safety Captain and a 2027 Chevrolet Traverse as an updated vehicle for the Assistant Chief.

Both vehicles were approved to be purchased from Tim Lally Chevrolet and will be complete with upfit including a light package, wrap and striping package.

The short-term rental zoning regulations topic will be on the Aug. 4 agenda and Sylvania Township residents are encouraged to attend and share input.
