Sylvania Star Spangled Celebration and Fireworks Display rescheduled

The 2022 Sylvania Star Spangled Celebration and Fireworks Display scheduled for Sunday, July 3rd has been rescheduled to Friday, July 8th. The City of Sylvania and Sylvania Township were notified earlier today by Zambelli Fireworks Manufacturing that they will not be able to do the Sylvania show as scheduled due to staffing issues. Ace Neighborhood Hardware celebrates 10 years of doing business on Main Street in downtown Sylvania

June 4 marked the 10th anniversary for the Sylvania Ace Neighborhood Hardware store. Store manager Brian Yeager and his team spent the day doing what they always do … serving the community. They gave away commemorative T-shirts while they cooked and served 400 hot dogs with all the fixings along with pieces of anniversary cake. “We also had great sales to celebrate, many of which are still ongoing,” Yeager reported.
